No-Prep Activity

The Emotion ID game requires no preparation or materials from the educator. Here’s how you can play the game with your kindergarten students:

  2. The volunteer will then act out the emotion using their facial expression, tone of voice, and words. Encourage the student to be as expressive as possible to help their classmates guess the emotion.
  3. Ask the rest of the class to observe the volunteer’s clues and discuss together what emotion they think the volunteer is acting out.
  4. Once the class agrees on an emotion, reveal the correct answer and discuss the clues that helped them figure it out.
