Everyday Speech Playlists: Effortlessly Organize and Share

Collaboration in education is key to student success. Yet, it often feels like there’s never enough time to effectively share resources and strategies. Everyday Speech understands this challenge and has developed a feature that makes collaborating with your colleagues as easy as clicking a button. Introducing Everyday Speech Playlists: Effortlessly organize and share with this powerful tool that allows you to curate you favorite resources and lessons.

Unlock the Power of Playlists

With Everyday Speech’s Playlists, you can effortlessly organize your top resources. Whether you’re working with interactive tools, engaging video lessons, or worksheets that reinforce critical concepts, Playlists ensure that your go-to materials are always just a click away. But it doesn’t stop there—Playlists also make sharing these curated resources with your colleagues, parents, and even non-subscribers incredibly easy.

Simplifying Resource Management

Imagine you’ve spent hours exploring the platform and have discovered a treasure trove of resources perfect for your students. How do you keep track of these materials and make sure they’re easily accessible when you need them? The answer is Playlists. With Playlists, you can save any material you love to a custom list that’s ready whenever you are.

For example, suppose you’ve been working on calming strategies with a student on your caseload. You can save all of their favorite materials in one place, creating a playlist titled “Calming Tools.” This list isn’t just for your reference—you can also share it with the student’s parents, other teachers, or school counselors to ensure everyone involved in the student’s education is on the same page.

Everyday Speech Playlists: Effortlessly Organize and Share

Creating and sharing Playlists on Everyday Speech is a breeze. Here’s how it works:

  1. Start by Exploring: Open any material on the platform that you love. For example, if you’re working on relaxation techniques, you might start with the Yoga Pose library.
  2. Save to List: At the bottom of the material, you’ll find an option titled “Save to List.” Click it, and you’ll be prompted to either create a new playlist or add the material to an existing one. For instance, you can create a new playlist called “Calming Tools.”
  3. Add More Resources: As you continue exploring and finding useful materials, simply click “Save to Playlist” each time you discover something new. You can either add it to your existing playlist or create a new one, depending on your needs.
  4. Access Your Playlists: To find your saved Playlists, navigate back to the main dashboard and click on the “My Toolkit” tab. Under “Playlists,” you’ll see all the lists you’ve created, making it easy to access your curated resources at any time.
  5. Share with Colleagues: Now, here’s where the real magic happens. Sharing your playlists with colleagues is as simple as clicking a button. Under the name of your playlist, click the “Share with Colleagues” button. You’ll be given two options: “Copy Link” or “Email.”
    • Copy Link: Instantly copies the playlist link to your clipboard, allowing you to share it via chat, add it to a calendar agenda, or any other platform you use for collaboration.
    • Email: Directly send the playlist link via email. Just enter your colleague’s email address, and we’ll handle the rest.

Boost Collaboration Across Your School

One of the standout features of Everyday Speech’s Playlists is the ability to share them with non-subscribers. This means that even if your colleague, administrator, or parent doesn’t have a subscription, they can still see the resources you’ve curated. Whether you’re aligning entire departments around common goals, or simply sharing a helpful resource with a new teacher, Playlists make collaboration more seamless and inclusive than ever before.

Imagine the impact this feature can have on your school’s efficiency. With Shareable Saved Lists, educators can easily curate and exchange their favorite teaching resources, supporting alignment to universal standards, schoolwide themes, and ultimately saving time on lesson prep. By organizing and sharing resources through Playlists, you’re not just streamlining your workflow—you’re paving the way for a more collaborative and successful school year.

Tailored for Your Unique Caseload

The beauty of Playlists lies in their flexibility. You can create as many playlists as you need, each one tailored to a specific student, group, or theme. Whether you’re working with students who need extra support in social-emotional learning, or you’re gathering resources for a professional development session, Playlists give you the power to organize and share with ease.

You might create playlists for:

  • Social Skills Development: Collect all the best resources on topics like making friends, understanding emotions, and communication strategies.
  • Academic Support: Tailor your playlists to include activities and lessons that reinforce classroom learning.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Save resources that support behavioral interventions or calming techniques.
