Cyber Skills Lesson Plan for Middle Schoolers
Objective: To enhance students’ cyber skills, emphasizing the importance of precise language and understanding in texting to avoid miscommunication.

Kick-start your lesson by engaging students with a dynamic, informative video lesson. This 15-minute video humorously yet effectively highlights common pitfalls in text communication and provides tangible solutions.
Activity: After watching the video, facilitate a class discussion. Ask students to share their experiences of misunderstandings while texting. Use these experiences to emphasize the importance of clarity and intent in digital communication.
Step Two: Everyday Speech PDF Worksheet
