Kate: (doing her braid)

Serena: Wow, I love your braid!

Kate: Thank you! I love doing different types of braids.

Serena: I bet it takes a lot of practice.

Kate: You can learn too. It’s not very hard.

 

[FROM MY VIEW]

Serena: (voice over) When I want to make someone else feel good, I give a compliment. I can also start conversations by noticing things about people and complimenting them.

Kate: (doing her braid)

Serena: Wow, I love your braid!

Kate: Thank you! I love doing different types of braids.

Serena: I bet it takes a lot of practice.

Kate: You can learn too. It’s not very hard.

Narrator: If we see something we like about someone or we think they’re doing a good job, we can give them a compliment.
