Video Blog: Assistive Touch – an iPad Accessibility Feature

By Brittany Lehane June 24, 2014

UPDATE: We’ve released an eBook – “The Ultimate Guide to the iPad for Speech Pathology and Special Education”. It has all the tips and tricks you need to become an iPad master. Best of all, it’s FREE. Grab your copy here.

We’re trying something new on the blog this week! We’ve created a short video that shows the Assistive Touch accessibility feature on the iPad in less than three minutes. In this video, you’ll learn how to:

  • Access Assistive Touch
  • Simulate iPad commands like volume up/down, device rotation, and home click through an easy on-screen dialog box
  • Create your own gesture that can be simulated with one touch!

Assistive touch is a GREAT way for those with Physical/Motor limitations to get the most out of their iPad. Enjoy!
