Social Skills Video: Working in Groups
This blog post is one in a series of entries outlining our social skills videos. The group is working on a social studies project. Everyone wants to do the project on France, but Alessandra wants to do Spain. When she doesn’t get her way, she yells and refuses to do any of the work. Alessandra needs to learn that when we work with a group, we have to compromise and still do our work even if we don’t get what we want.
Use Working in Groups
Working in groups can be very challenging! Students need to be able to compromise and work together. Have students role play different situations where the group is not agreeing and come up with a compromise.
